Product Development Engineer - Fasteners

Basic Purpose and Objective

The Fastener Product Development Engineer is responsible for the design and development of plastic and metal automotive fasteners (interior and exterior). This position will have a focus on (but not limited to) metals products.

The Fastener Product Development Engineer is responsible for both design and development of plastic and metal automotive fasteners. The STANLEY^® fasteners you’ll be creating will have a wide variety of applications in both the interior and exterior of all types of automobiles, so you’ll be responsible for innovating solutions for a panoply of tight spaces and unique conditions. As such, this position requires a high level of creativity combined with a knack for problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple challenges simultaneously. In this fast-paced role, you’ll primarily be focusing on metals products, providing advanced solutions to form the linchpin of some of the most recognized and respected vehicles worldwide.

• Bachelor's degree required. Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering preferred.

• Experience in product engineering in the automotive industry.
• Experience in fastener design preferred.
• CATIA or NX experience preferred.
