The DK/DL splined body design provides increased torque-to-turn resistance over conventional non-splined inserts.

The DK/DL is offered in both a low-profile and large-flange headform. The low-profile head allows near-flush seating without special hole preparation. The large-flange version provides a large bearing surface which increases push-out performance.

Available in either steel or aluminum, this insert is designed to provide load bearing threads in sheet materials from 0.50mm (.020") to 7.9 mm (.312").

Assembly applications where the DK/DL is used include automotive, electrical engineering, sheet metal, domestic appliance, and general light fabrication.
