Chassis
STANLEY® Engineered Fastening's cage nut assembly product allows for variation management in critical joints. This is achieved with a heat-treated floating nut inside a weldable cage. Our mini-cage nut assembly product allows for variation management in applications like seat attachments, cargo hold-downs and fuel tank straps.Powertrain
STANLEY® Engineered Fastening provides as in-place weldable plate with a captive class 10 nut for engine cradle critical joints.
Sheet Metal
STANLEY® Engineered Fastening offers a line of torque nuts able to resist loosening at the joint. We have a predictable torque at tension, important for critical joints. Applications include suspension, chassis, body mounts and manifold covers. We offer Gripco® clinch nuts designed to be formed in the body of vehicles. The benefit of this fastening style is reduced maintenance of the installation equipment that is more predictable and cleaner than welding. Applications include door and hood hinges, hood striker attachments, battery covers, and airbags.
