Products range from fasteners featuring anti-vibration technologies to thread-cutting or thread-forming tools to assembly solutions.
To survive the vibration and high temperatures of launch, we require the most reliable locking engagement thread. Screws must remain tight without opportunity for retightening. With conventional threading, however, screws loosened up and backed out under testing. The Spiralock thread form retained a tight seal at 300° C. Once torqued down properly, the screws stayed put in the threads, which helped us meet our flight schedule.

Armaments
When designing axles, frames, chassis, and tank track pins for armored fighting vehicles (AFVs) and other military vehicles, it's critical that they are securely attached since failure in the field could endanger human life and create serious part replacement issues. Similarly, missiles, weapons, and naval equipment must have all of their threaded joints firmly fastened to ensure their successful deployment and operation. STANLEY® Engineered Fastening manufactures top-quality innovative fastening products that can perform under the most extreme weather and terrain conditions, providing our troops with reliable equipment. We are MIL-I-45208A and T9074-AS-GIB-010/271 NAVSEA Technical publication - Military MT Inspection certified and hold an SDI certification. We employ Level I, Level II, and Level III NDT inspectors, certified to inspect products for military use as we are often called on to produce military fasteners and other similar parts requiring precision machining of cylindrical parts.
Military Track Pins
STANLEY® Engineered Fastening uses high-grade steel to machine tank pins that, in over 50 years of unsurpassed service to TACOM, have yet to reported a single field failure. Our tank pins are utilized in vehicles such as the U.S.’s Abrams tanks and the Danish M109L47, a version of the US M109 self-propelled howitzer. The Israeli Army’s Merkava Main Battle Tank and the Centurion Main Battle Tank also utilize our tank pins. We provide the necessary nuts, bolts, and pins to complete the track pin sets. Materials are selected based on customer requirements or the weight and speed of a tracked vehicle as well as what terrain it must cover. We machine track pins to maintain a high level of strength but also to retain ductility or flexibility.

A fastener may seem like a small thing but can make the difference between aircraft power being online or off. Prevailing torque nuts can gall or freeze on threaded bolts during installation, leading to intermittent power availability if the nuts' rundown torque exceeds the final torque limit before clamping. Spiralock nuts not only meet the required clamping force when exposed to 50 Gs of vibration and 200 Gs of shock load, but also maintain this performance for thousands of hours of operational use.
