Gripco® Hex Pilot Weld Nuts
Gripco® Hex Pilot Weld Nuts are engineered for positioning in pierced or drilled holes. The pilot eliminates the need for expensive jigs or centering devices and helps reduce welding splatter from entering the nut threads.
Three- and six-projection types provide a non-rocking, firm current connection during welding. The mass of the projections is increased in proportion to increased pilot heights to ensure weld on thick or thin metals.
Gripco® offers a Class 9 Standard Series and Class 9 Counterbore Series of metric hex pilot projection weld nuts manufactured from low-carbon steel for use with Class 9.8 bolts. We also offer a Grade B pilot projection weld nuts for use with Grade 5 bolts and a Standard Series manufactured from low-carbon steel for use with Grade 2 bolts.
